Hello y’all,
Welcome to my first blog for HutSix! I've been asked share some ideas to make for some enjoyable reading, so here we go.
I recently travelled to the USA, and it gave me a fresh perspective on how different parts of the world interact with technology. While the experience was eye-opening, it made me appreciate how far ahead we are in Australia. Our smaller population has driven us to embrace technology seamlessly, from Maccas to SaaS products in our everyday lives.
One stark difference I noticed in the USA is the complexity of processes. Paying for services and products often involves a multi-stage process, something that would likely frustrate Aussies. Even large companies like Walmart haven't fully adopted 'paywave' technology, which is second nature to us.
This brings us to HutSix and our work with remote regional councils. These councils are not just keeping pace; they are miles ahead of their counterparts in Australia and the USA. At HutSix, we create systems that overcome distance, ensure equal employment opportunities, and streamline reporting for the Australian and State Governments.
But what exactly do we do? Many people ask this question, so let me break it down for you.
HutSix is a bespoke software company. We tailor solutions to your needs and add a sprinkle of our magic. Imagine it like this: hot chips can be many things to many people, but they are always delicious. Similarly, HutSix creates "yummy" products that are tailored, efficient, and user-friendly.
Here’s a taste of what we offer:
Our systems are designed with the user in mind, particularly in remote areas where English might be the fifth or sixth language spoken. Whether you're in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, or any other capital city, our solutions are:
Our systems are like the TARDIS from Dr. Who: small on the outside, huge on the inside. They provide big thinking in a small space. So, the next time you have a big idea that needs a small footprint, call us.
To quote Star Trek: "When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more insights from HutSix!
Cheers,
Brad
